Seminar Schedule

Each class that's held during this day-long seminar is designed to show you the next level of concepts, ideas and techniques to help you make the kind of images you've always dreamed of.

Best of all, you'll have a complete, fully-detailed class workbook that follows right along with Scott's live training (including a series of videos created just for this tour), so you don't have to spend the day scribbling notes. Instead, you can just relax, focus and take it all in.

10:00AM – 11:15AM

Have you ever seen some amazing image online—the kind of image you long to make, and then you read it was taken with a camera lens that isn't even as good as the one you're using? So you're left thinking that there must be some button, some setting, some menu command that gives them such stunning results.

Here's the thing: it's not a setting. It's something else. They know the "Secret Sauce" that turns snapshots into the type of images you want to hang on the wall (or in a gallery). This class focuses on just that one topic and the main ingredients the pros use to create incredible images with whatever camera gear they already have (or whichever camera you hand them). An incredibly eye-opening session that will make you re-think everything!

An incredibly eye-opening session that will make you re-think everything!

11:30AM – 12:45PM

Scott's "Seven Point System" book revolutionized how photographers edit their images, and in this all-new live session you're going to learn his latest updates and refinements to the system (including his own post-processing "secret sauce") for Lightroom (or Camera Raw) users.

Once you learn these Seven Points, you'll know exactly what to do, in what order, and why it's done, for every JPEG, Raw and TIFF photo you edit. It will transform the way you edit your photos from this moment on.

1:45PM – 3:00PM

Creating really beautiful, or really dramatic, or really just gorgeous lighting don't have a cost a lot—in fact, it can be a downright bargain.

In this session, Scott picks up where he left off in the first tour with this introduction to the hot shoe flash, and shows you step-by-step how to take your lighting to the next level, including which soft boxes, set-ups & accessories you need (and which you don't), as well as how to put together a simple & inexpensive (yet very powerful) lighting set-up that's easy to travel with & simple to use, which creates beautiful lighting wherever you go.

3:15PM – 4:00PM

When Scott did this class for the first time, tons of participants came up to him afterward to ask: "Why didn't anybody tell us this stuff before?!"

This class covers a multitude of rarely-explained elements that can propel your image-making to the next level. Scott will introduce you to things that are usually passed down one-on-one (such as from a mentor to an apprentice) or only learned by experience, and you'll discover a new way of thinking about photography that will transfer directly to the type of images you make from here on out. This class will be one you'll be gushing about later!

4:15PM – 5:00PM

Scott brings his incredibly popular "Photo Recipes" to life on stage, which show you exactly what you need to know to create the most popular, most requested and most sought-after looks, feels, camera techniques, lighting and post-processing tricks. Once you learn the secrets, you'll see how easy it really is to achieve professional aesthetics and styles.

He'll cover everything from lenses to camera settings, composition to subject manner, portraits to landscapes, and it's an inspiriting and info-packed way to wrap up the day.

Of course! One of the best things about our seminars is the opportunity to speak face-to-face with Scott, the instructor. Ask your most-pressing photography & Photoshop questions, get your books autographed, or simply take a photo with him!

You'll also be given plenty of time for this, during breaks, lunch, and after the event. This is one of Scott's favorite elements of the seminars, as well—so be sure to stop by the stage and say hi!
